These artist include:
Our very own teacher Jon will feature in this exciting exhibition. Jon has worked in the pottery industry for 30 years becoming a master for Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. He has demonstrated his craft across the world including the Far East and his pieces can be found in the Royal household. Jon provides classes on pottery making, throwing and hand painting, and is available for commissions.
Emma Bailey is a unique Ceramic Artist, born and bred in Staffordshire, the UK’s home of pottery. Her work is undoubtedly steeped in the heritage of ceramic talent that comes from her hometown and already deemed to be the next Clarice Cliff, as her influences and an instinct for striking colour and design are imminent.
Tracy and her team continue the tradition of producing unique hand-crafted stoneware, producing fine quality collectable ceramics from those original Cobridge Stoneware/Moorcroft moulds, transforming raw clay into beautifully decorated birds, animals, vases, lamps and tiles.
Alex’s work combines traditional handcrafted and digitally-produced techniques and processes to create a range of diverse surface pattern designs for commercial and limited edition products. Alex applies etching, embossment, glaze and experimental screen-printing techniques to create distinct pieces with intricate detailing and composition. All of her decorative wares are produced in a range of high-quality ceramic bodies including porcelain, earthenware and Parian.
